From small, mid-sized to large organizations we can build a customized business plan that fits your needs now and help you to continue to grow and ensure that all of your needs are met. We will implement an environment that ensures all of your employees have access to the data they need in order to be most efficient. There is no time to waste with a network that does not perform. We can analyze your current system and ensure that you are running at optimal speed and performance. If you are not satisfied with your network and server performance you may need to analyze your business applications to ensure you are running reliable secure and fast applications to maximize production. Your data is critical to the success of your business. We can assist you in evaluating your current environment and recommend and implement the most effective and economical networking solutions.

Network switching

In a network, a switch is a device that channels incoming data from any of multiple in a network, a switch is a device that channels incoming data from any of multiple input ports to the specific output port that will take it toward its intended destination.

In a local area network (LAN) using Ethernet, a network switch determines where to send each incoming message frame by looking at the physical device address (also known as the Media Access Control address or MAC address). Switches maintain tables that match each MAC address to the port from which the MAC address has been received.

If a frame is to be forwarded to a MAC address that is unknown to the switch infrastructure, it is flooded to all ports in the switching domain. Broadcast and multicast frames are also flooded.

This is known as BUM flooding broadcast, unknown unicast, and multicast flooding. This capability makes a switch a Layer 2 or data-link layer device in the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) communications model.

Routing

Routing is used to tie multiple networks together. For example, you would use a router to connect your networked computers to the Internet and thereby share an Internet connection among many users. The router will act as a dispatcher, choosing the best route for your information to travel so that you receive it quickly. Routers analyze the data being sent over a network, change how it is packaged and send it to another network or over a different type of network.

They connect your business to the outside world, protect your information from security threats, and can even decide which computers get priority over others. Depending on your business and your networking plans, you can choose from routers that include different capabilities.

These can include functions such as:
